Why this work means so much to us

We designed our visit program to be customizable, based on client requirements and the needs of participants at different levels of engagement.

We’ve seen how the attention of a little horse can inspire someone who was withdrawn, or help another person feel seen, valued, and at ease. That kind of connection builds confidence and is joyful for both children and adults. They become focused on the present moment and curious to learn more about the horse.

Over the years our personal horses have brought us such joy. We believe everyone deserves access to meaningful experiences that are both educational and an opportunity to learn independence through new skills. The care we put into our business came from a deep respect for the people we served, and the incredible horses who helped make it all happen.

We transported our minis in a customized panel van. On this occasion we turned the van into a mobile barn with Lucy onboard for an educational talk during summer camp at the Community Safety Village in Stouffville.

2016 - Oliver as a newborn foal in the arms of his breeder in Quebec. We chose this breeder in large part because of the level of affection they give their horses. It was the perfect foundation for teaching the horses to bond with our participants.

About Linda

I entered the horse world in 2008 with adult riding lessons, but curiosity soon drew me to equine behaviour, ground training and volunteering with a rescued mare named Fancy. Eighteen months later, she became the first of my six horses and together they completely changed the direction of my life.

  • Currently enrolled in the Equine-Facilitated Wellness program with Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CANTRA)

  • Certified Facilitator of Equine Assisted Learning, 2017 Dreamwinds EAL

  • 10 months as a volunteer in therapeutic riding lessons at Windreach Farm

  • Combined 26 years employment with Scotiabank and Royal Bank

  • Bachelor of Applied Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson)
